We're a small team of plant people who got tired of guessing. Every dead succulent and every yellowing fern in our own homes started the same way — a gut feeling about watering that turned out to be wrong. Rooter Score exists because "it looks thirsty" isn't a diagnosis.
Our mission is simple: turn the invisible world under the soil line into something you can actually read. Rooter Score ("the app," "we," "our") is built on one non-negotiable principle: your data belongs on your device, not on ours. Here's exactly what that means.
None. Rooter Score does not require or request an account, a username, an email address, or your location. We run no analytics and track no usage patterns. The only information that exists is what you type in yourself: plant names, pot composition notes, drainage settings, soil moisture readings, watering dates, and the logs you create.
Because we never receive any information, we never use, analyze, sell, or share anything about you or your plants. Every calculation — your Rooter Score, your watering history — happens entirely on your device, using only what you've entered there.
All plant records, logs, and calculator inputs live in a local database on your device only. There is no cloud account, no remote backup, and no server this app talks to. It works exactly the same with or without an internet connection.
No analytics platforms, advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or crash-reporting tools are built into Rooter Score. No third party receives information from this app, because none ever leaves your device.
Since your data never travels off your device, it faces the same risk as any of your other local files: physical access to the device itself. We keep the app's footprint and permissions minimal to avoid introducing any unnecessary exposure.
Rooter Score does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all.
You are always in complete control of your data. Since everything lives locally, you can review, edit, or delete it inside the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes it permanently — there's no account to close and no backup sitting on a server, because none was ever made.
We may update this policy as the app's features change. If we do, we'll update the effective date above. Since we collect no contact details, we can't notify you directly — check back here occasionally for updates.
